Rabbi Gideon Sylvester served for seven years as Rabbi of Radlett United Synagogue. He made aliya to Israel where he serves as Rabbi of Tribe Israel, providing guidance to students on their gap years and the young people on the JFS Lavie scheme. Rabbi Gideon also teaches on the TILT and Tribe Top Up programmes and acts as a consultant to British groups in Israel.
In addition to his work for Tribe, Rabbi Gideon is the Director of Yeshivat Hamivtar-Torat Yosef and the Straus Rabbinical Seminary and is a frequent contributor to the Judaism pages of the Jewish Chronicle.
